August Beauty Edit
We're in the depths of summer here and the heat doesn't seem to be slowing down anytime soon. Although my skincare routine hasn't changed much during the warmer months, I have narrowed down some favorites for when it's too humid for anything but skincare. Take a look at all the beauty products I've been reaching for!
It should come as no surprise that this Noto Botanics Multi-Benne Stain is at the top of my list. It's been living in my purse since I was first gifted it by the natural beauty brand, but the peppermint in the stain makes it extra refreshing for summer. The color is also gorgeous! It's the perfect orange-red hue. When I need something extra hydrating, the Ogee Sculpted Lip Oil is my holy grail. It's quickly become my absolute favorite for chapped, or even sunburned lips.
If you haven't tried out Glossier's new Cloud Paint in Dawn, you're missing out. I thought it was going to be too red for me at first, but it's the most beautiful, bright coral blush I've ever tried. Wearing it gives me the sun-kissed glow of someone who just stepped off the beach in the South of France. Speaking of sun, I've been going through bottles of the Trader Joe's Sunscreen Lotion like crazy all summer. It's one of the best, non-greasy SPF's I've tried!
My skincare routine has been edited down quite a bit these past few months, with oils, serums and sunscreens being my go-to. Woodlot was so kind and recently sent me a bunch of products from their line skincare line to try, and I can confidently say that everything I've used has been incredible. The Nourishing Facial Oil is one of the loveliest oils I've used in a long time. It's hydrating and leaves behind a nice glow without looking too greasy. At night I love using the Kypris Clearing Serum to help get rid of any irritation or redness that may have popped up. The smell is a touch medicinal, but the pay off is amazing!
